A government statutory board wanted to enable taxpayers in sending SMS queries about their tax return status, and needed a robust SMS architecture which would lead to a reduction of calls (and therefore audio or face-to-face contact time), and enable self-service.
Inspire-Tech offered its EasiSMS suite of products, which included the EasiCommand Builder, EasiSMS Enterprise Messaging Server, and customised to fit the statutory board's existing systems and security requirements. The EasiCommand Builder was able to provide simple configuration of rules to provide for different scenarios which may be encountered by either taxpayers or the organisation's service staff.
In addition, the modular EasiSMS suite of products generated clear and updated reports for audit purposes. The system also had the ability to scale from GSM modem termination to direct carrier termination without affecting the business logic layer. It gives them the assurance of ease of upgrade. This meant that the the statutory board was able to add on new services e.g. services tax search easily, without having to purchase another set of software.
