A reputable bank in Thailand, with more than US$64 billion in total assets and a branch network which includes over 25 international branches or offices in 13 economies, spanning across ASEAN and major markets wanted to exploit the growing trend of communication via SMS.
Various departments within the bank were using disparate solutions to send SMS for marketing purposes, ATM transfers notification alerts, regular transaction reminders and alerts, remittance alerts and even fraud alerts. The bank needed to consolidate all SMS requirements into a single solution, to allow for operational and cost efficiency. At the same, the chosen system should have the ability to accomodate new business needs in the future that would allow for scalability and extend usage.
After a long search, Singapore's Inspire-Tech was chosen as the preferred vendor, using the company's EasiSMS suite of products, including EasiSMS Enterprise Messaging Server and related Bankwide modules.
