In recent years, the Singapore administrators of one of the largest financial services institutions in the world have noticed a rapid increase of SMS usage as a means of communication, and wanted to exploit this technology. The bank's system administrators needed to be alerted via SMS on system issues as emails are not timely and effective, as well as a solution to cater for all alerts in the Asia region covering more than 10 countries.
Hence they co-operated with Inspire-Tech to implement a reliable SMS system, as the latter has a track record of serving financial institutions. Post-implementation, the bank administrators observed significant costs saving through consolidation via deployment on a single server to cater to regional needs. EasiSMS's user friendly interfaces also allowed the bank administrators to setup rules and conduct trials before SMS broadcasts. EasiEscalate was also found to be able to process notification needs from several servers concurrently, adverting several operational issues.
