A primary school in Singapore needed to cope with the increasing demands of parent-teachers communication. The school found that paper-based communication had at times resulted in critical communication lapses. The school then turned to Inspire-Tech for a solution, and chose the hosted RapidSMS solution.
The school's first success in using the hosted RapidSMS service was a 'tighter' channel of messaging: sending timely SMSes to parents on important announcements and event reminders (e.g. students needed to bring thermometers during H1N1 outbreak).
