EasiSMS Messaging Server sends and receives SMS in three different methods, namely

  1. GSM Modem
  2. SMPP
  3. Virtual GSM

A) GSM MODEMS THROUGH EASIMODEM
This is the easiest and most affordable connectivity option for any organization with messaging needs. Customers only need to purchase SIM card from their mobile operators. When connected to the EEMS 2005, messages will be sent & received through the SIM card. Connectivity via GSM modem supports bi-direction (incoming and outgoing). Your message will appear as the mobile number of the SIM card e.g. 6590301132.

Typical message throughput
Average of 600 SMS per hour and subject to network congestion during peak hours

Models of Modems Supported
Any GSM standard modems like Nokia 30, Wavecom, iTegno, Tellular, Siemens.

B) DIRECT CONNECTIVITY WITH OPERATORS’s SMSC THROUGH EASISMPP
EasiSMPP is a connector module which allows you to connect directly to any mobile operators globally. SMPP is a standard used by most service provider across the world. Such connections can allow both incoming and outgoing. However, you need to find out from your service provider if they provide both direction as some service providers (especially international ones) do not provide the incoming path. Companies take up this option because of the need to manage high volume/ mission critical SMS or like to generate revenue with Micro-Billing (aka premium SMS, short code).

Typical message throughput
Please consult your preferred service provider on their throughput. Some service providers offer different grade of services for different throughput rates. Based on experience, 1 – 10 messages per second can be achieved.

C) VIRTUAL GSM
This is single direction (only outgoing). Messages are passed to Inspire-Tech’s SMS gateway through secure HTTPS protocol for delivery to your recipients. Message sender’s ID can be masked or customised to your corporate brand. It is useful for marketing campaigns or messages that do not require actions (reply) from the recipients, where messages will bear the company name instead of long codes (mobile numbers)

Typical message throughput
Average of 3,000 SMS per hour
