Q. How will EasiWorkgroup 2007 be licensed?
A. Firstly, EasiWorkgroup has 2 editions. Standard & Enterprise. A minimum purchase would be EasiWorkgroup 2007 Standard Edition with 5 CALs. CAL licenses can be purchased in blocks of 5 CALs. For customers with about 100 CALs or more, we would encourage you to purchase a Processor License which gives you unlimited CALs. Each EasiWorkgroup purchase also needs to be bundled with at least EasiSMS Enterprise Messaging Server Standard Edition. This comes with 1 EasiModem Connector license which allows you to connect to 1 GSM modem (GSM modem is separate cost). Customers are encouraged to purchase Software Assurance to enjoy software upgrades. Detailed licensing information will be available through our sales department.

Features and Functions

Q. How do I know someone has replied to my SMS?
A. All incoming SMS which "belongs" to you can be found in your personal inbox. If you have selected the option under your profile "Notify me via Email when I received a SMS" and put in your correct email address, you can receive email on every incoming SMS routed to you. Please check with your administrator if the SMTP address has been setup correctly before this feature is enabled.

Q. My company administrator does not want to purchase a separate SMS application because address duplication is a big headache. How can we overcome that?
A. EasiWorkgroup 2007 Enterprise Edition has a new feature called Database Synchronisation. With a ONE time setup of the database connection between your primary application (which has the address book), the database can be set on even daily synchronisation. This means any update to your primary application's database will be synchronised and updated to EasiWorkgroup's contact list. In this way, all staff can have access to the contact database conveniently on EasiWorkgroup's user interface.

Q. Can I greet my customer by name in each broadcast, it will be more personalised?
A. Yes, in your SMS message box, type in this format ##Name##. This will be merged with the name stored in your EasiWorkgroup's contact details. e.g Dear ##Name##, my.. will be resolved as Dear Mary, my.... and Dear John, my... for each message, where Mary and John are your contacts' respective names.

Q. My organisation has the ability to mask SMS Sender ID, does EasiWorkgroup support that?
A. Yes, it does. In fact, it is more flexible. There are 3 options. An organisation can choose to fix the Sender ID to a single Sender ID or even allow your end user to type the sender ID on their own. This can be managed on the administrator's setup.

Q. I've been requested by users to remove their number from my mailing list or they threaten to report to police that I've SPAM them. Is there an easy way to handle this as it is so tedious to update the mailing list?
A. EasiWorkgroup 2007 support automatic unsubscribe. We suggest you to setup the unsusbcribe keyword as either Unsubscribe or Unsub. In your message, just end with a simple instruction so that user know how to do it. e.g. Inspire-Tech Promotional Offer. Special discounts on EasiWorkgroup licenses. Reply UNSUB to unsubscribe.

You are assured that any future SMS sent to your whole list of contacts will not reach the "unsubscribers" as EasiWorkgroup check before sending the SMS out. In addition, we recommend customers to setup the autoreply SMS to acknowledge the unsubscribe has been processed. e.g. We regret that you've indicated your interest to unsubscribe. Should this unsubscribe be a mistake, you may reply RESUBSCRIBE to remove yourself from the unsubscribe list. Inspire-Tech
