FAQ

 GENERAL QUESTIONS

  1. Is Pocket Mobile Club a service?
No. Pocket Mobile Club is an application that is installed solely in your PDA to capture your customer’s information and broadcast to them. For example, you are the shop owner and want to know who your loyal customer is. Using PMC, your customers can join in your mailing list by just sending the keyword like “join <space>name”. Therefore, whenever your shop has promotions, new arrivals or even you want to inform your customers about relocation, new operating hours, with one click, PMC allows you to broadcast easily.
  2. Doesn’t Pocket Outlook support Text Messages sending and management? Why do we still need this Pocket Mobile Club?
Pocket Outlook’s Text message is not designed for “Mass SMS” sending. In order to send to multiple recipients, the user has to select the contact ONE by ONE. Imagine how tedious it is to repeat the action for 500 contacts! Pocket Mobile Club is designed to select your contacts by category. When you want to broadcast, just select the category name and click the Send button. It is so quick and simple.
  3. Can we broadcast email using Pocket Mobile Club since it can also capture email address?
No. Pocket Mobile Club is designed to take the advantages of SMS in terms of reaching out to people faster and enjoying higher readership rate than emails.
  4.  Does customer need to pay for subscription?
No. The subscription we are referring to is really "joining your mailing list" or be part of your address book recipients who would like to hear more from you. If you look at a business-customer relationship, by having the Pocket Mobile Club, your business empowers your customers to self-register their mobile numbers to your mailing list by sending in a SMS. The "subscription" is free for your customer since you would love to broadcast news to them in the future.
  5. Would you have my customer's mobile number?
No. Pocket Mobile Club is just a software installed in your Windows Mobile Device. All information is stored in your phone. We do not have any access to your information. This is why we have emphasized one of the key value of owning a Pocket Mobile Club is exclusivity to your mailing list.
